Experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon – West Midlands

Salary: Up to £75,000 DOE
Permanent Position
Flexible Working Options Available

My client is a successful and rapidly growing independent veterinary group in the West Midlands that has developed an excellent reputation for providing high-quality first opinion and advanced small animal care.

The practice benefits from an experienced clinical team, excellent facilities, and a philosophy of retaining cases in-house wherever possible. This creates an engaging and rewarding caseload for veterinary surgeons who enjoy working cases up to a high clinical standard and seeing them through from diagnosis to treatment.

With a strong surgical caseload and access to modern diagnostic equipment, the team regularly manages procedures and cases that would often be referred elsewhere. This provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinary surgeon seeking greater clinical freedom and professional satisfaction.

The group continues to invest heavily in its people, facilities, and services and is looking for a confident veterinary surgeon who can contribute to the continued growth and success of the practice.

The Role:

• Consultations and case workups
• Routine and more advanced surgical procedures
• Managing a varied first-opinion caseload
• Supporting and mentoring less experienced colleagues where appropriate
• Opportunity to pursue individual clinical interests

The Practice Offers:

• Salary up to £75,000 DOE
• Flexible working arrangements
• Excellent surgical and medical caseload
• Modern diagnostic and surgical facilities
• Clinical freedom within a supportive environment
• CPD and certificates fully funded and encouraged
• Staff discounts
• Genuine long-term career progression

This opportunity would suit a highly capable veterinary surgeon who enjoys both surgery and medicine and is looking to join an ambitious independent practice where they can make a meaningful contribution to the clinical team
