Locum Veterinary Surgeon – Reading, Berkshire
My client in Reading requires an experienced Locum Veterinary Surgeon from October 2026 on an ongoing basis.
The practice requires cover on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. There may also be an occasional Saturday morning shift available from 8:30am–12:30pm.
This is a general practitioner position involving a mixture of first-opinion consultations and surgery. The locum should be confident working independently and comfortable undertaking a small amount of sole-charge work.
The practice provides a broad range of companion animal services, including 15-minute consultations, diagnostic imaging, dentistry, routine and non-routine soft-tissue surgery, orthopaedics and laparoscopic procedures.
