Locum Veterinary Surgeon – Bridgend
November 2026 to At Least 10th January 2027
My client in Bridgend requires an experienced Locum Veterinary Surgeon from November 2026 until at least 10th January 2027.
Depending on the successful candidate’s experience and CV, the practice can offer either a consult-only position or a full clinical rota.
## Consult-Only Option
* Three to five days per week
* A mixture of shifts, including:
* 8am–5pm
* 9am–6pm
* 10am–7pm
* 12pm–8pm
## Full-Rota Option
The full rota will include a mixture of consultations, operating and hospital shifts, alongside one block of out-of-hours cover during the 11-week booking.
The OOH commitment consists of seven on-call nights, with accommodation provided in the hospital’s stay-in flat. These can be worked as:
* Seven nights on followed by seven nights off; or
* Split across Monday–Tuesday, Wednesday–Thursday and Friday–Sunday
The rota also includes:
* Saturday morning: 9am–1pm
* Sunday morning: 9am–2pm
This is a flexible opportunity suitable for either a consult-only vet or an experienced all-rounder comfortable with inpatient care and on-call work.
