Night Registered Veterinary Nurse – West Midlands
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 DOE
7 Nights On / 7 Nights Off
8pm – 8am
My client, an expanding independent veterinary group in the West Midlands, is looking to recruit a Night Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their dedicated out-of-hours team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a busy emergency and critical care environment, providing overnight care for a wide variety of medical and surgical cases. The practice operates a well-established out-of-hours service and sees both its own clients and emergency referrals, creating a diverse and rewarding caseload.
The successful candidate will join a supportive and experienced team committed to delivering exceptional patient care around the clock. The role offers excellent exposure to emergency medicine, inpatient care, critical patient monitoring, and emergency surgical support.
As part of a privately owned veterinary group, decisions are made locally and there is a strong emphasis on teamwork, clinical standards, and staff wellbeing. The practice values its nursing team and encourages nurses to utilise their full skillset while continuing to develop professionally.
The Role:
• 7 nights on / 7 nights off rota
• 8pm – 8am shifts
• Emergency and critical care nursing
• Monitoring and management of hospitalised patients
• Anaesthesia and surgical support when required
• Working alongside experienced overnight clinicians
