Out of Hours Veterinary Surgeon – West Midlands
Salary: Up to £60,000 DOE
4 Nights On / 3 Nights Off
My client, a growing independent veterinary group in the West Midlands, is seeking an Out of Hours Veterinary Surgeon to join their dedicated emergency and critical care service.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a veterinary surgeon who enjoys the challenge and variety of emergency medicine and wants to work within a busy and well-established overnight service.
The practice provides 24-hour care and manages a wide range of emergency presentations, medical cases, trauma patients, and post-operative inpatients. Supported by an experienced overnight nursing team and excellent facilities, you will have the opportunity to manage cases thoroughly while maintaining high standards of patient care.
Unlike many corporate environments, this independent group places significant emphasis on clinical autonomy, teamwork, and patient outcomes. The team has developed a strong reputation for delivering exceptional emergency care and retaining a high level of in-house expertise.
The Role:
• 4 nights on / 3 nights off rota
• Management of emergency consultations and admissions
• Inpatient monitoring and case management
• Emergency surgical procedures where required
• Collaboration with a skilled overnight nursing team
• Delivering high standards of ECC care
