Part Time Locum Registered Veterinary Nurse Newcastle
My independent client in Newcastle is seeking a locum Registered Veterinary Nurse from the beginning of October on an ongoing basis.
The practice would ideally like someone who can provide at least three days of cover each week from Monday to Wednesday. There is scope to offer additional days or hours if desired.
You will be joining a friendly small animal team working across two established sites.
The role

• Independent small animal practice
• Supportive veterinary and nursing team
• Varied clinical nursing responsibilities
The successful locum should be an RCVS registered veterinary nurse who is comfortable supporting a busy small animal caseload. The role is likely to include surgical and medical nursing, anaesthetic monitoring, inpatient care, nurse clinics and general practice duties.

The practice is also recruiting permanently for a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse. This is a 40 hour position paying £34,000 to £37,000, with responsibility for leading and developing the nursing team across both sites.
