Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon – Worcestershire
Salary: £45,000 – £75,000+ DOE

My client, a busy independent small animal practice in Worcestershire, is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their growing team.
This opportunity would suit a vet with 3+ years UK experience who is confident with routine surgery and enjoys managing a varied first opinion caseload. The practice offers excellent clinical freedom, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to continue developing your interests whilst working alongside experienced colleagues and certificate holders.
The practice manages a wide range of medical and surgical cases in-house and is committed to investing in both its team and facilities, creating an environment where vets can genuinely progress their skills and enjoy their work.
The Role
Full-time position
4-day working week
Fixed day off
8:30am – 6:30pm shifts
No out-of-hours
Dedicated admin time built into the day
Mix of consulting and surgery
Busy first opinion caseload
Weekend commitment is shared fairly across the veterinary team and consists of a limited number of Saturdays and occasional Sundays throughout the year.

Dental radiography
Endoscopy and gastroscopy

Dedicated orthopaedic and soft tissue theatre

What Theyre Looking For
MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon
3+ years qualified experience
Confident with routine soft tissue surgery
Comfortable managing a busy first opinion caseload
Strong communication skills and team-focused attitude
Keen to continue developing clinically
Certificate holders, those studying towards a certificate, or vets with particular interests are all welcomed and supported.
